METAL HOSE
Corrugated flexible Metal hose is often used to absorb vibration, to compensate for misalignment and to accommodate offset motion while conveying liquids and gasses. Our Hose inventory, coupled with our vast variety of fittings, couplings and adapters, enables us to fulfill most any requirement. We understand that no customer's needs are exactly the same and we tailor our capabilites to meet our customer's requirements. In addition, all assemblies are leak tested prior to shipment to ensure trouble free installation and service. Metal Hose capabilities include Jacketed Hose, Chlorine Transfer Hose, Covered Assemblies, and Lined Assemblies.
Metal Hose Fittings
A hose within a hose. Both the inner and outer hose act independently as separate pressure carriers for a wide range of applications. Outer hose may be used for steam or hot oil to heat media carried by inner hose. Jacketed hose assemblies are available in a wide range of materials, sizes and fittings.
Made from monel 400 alloy. Complies with Chlorine Institute specifications. All assemblies are tested, cleaned, tagged, capped and bagged to prevent contamination.
All assemblies are available with protective coverings such as metal interlocking hose, rubber, plastic, Teflon or high temperature materials. The coverings help protect the hose from external abrasion and abuse, reinforce the hose to restrict overbending and serve as insulation to resist heat.
An internal liner, normally metal interlocked hose, can be installed to reduce wear caused by abrasive media or to help prevent resonant vibration induced by high flow velocity.
